EVENTS
The Events Committee manages regular community building events and socials to foster a close-knit club culture. Some of the internal events that have been organized include an alternative protein Thanksgiving and a charcuterie board making event! The committee also organizes speaker events, conferences, and career treks to engage with industry leaders and build connections -- for example the Food 4 Thought Conference.

Vegan pizza social in collaboration with NUMU Vegan Mozzarella, speaker event with founder of Lavva Yogurt Elizabeth Fisher, and Greenfest tabling during Earth Week!

MARKETING
The Marketing Committee is responsible for designing graphics for all internal and external events, along with other supplementary social media content. The committee also runs our organization's social media platforms including the website, LinkedIn, and Instagram, with a strategy for growth. Marketing members are responsible for ensuring proper documentation of committee and general body meetings throughout the year, and helping establish partnerships with alternative protein food companies.
Recent highlights:
The marketing team established new partnerships with plant-based food companies like Oatly, NUMU Vegan Mozzarella, and Offbeast Steaks.
