Events & Marketing

EVENTS

The Events Committee manages regular community building events and socials to foster a close-knit club culture. Some of the internal events that have been organized include an alternative protein Thanksgiving and a charcuterie board making event! The committee also organizes speaker events, conferences, and career treks to engage with industry leaders and build connections -- for example the Food 4 Thought Conference. 

This semester, Events hopes to organize more field trips, career treks and opportunities for club members to engage with the alternative protein ecosystem.

MARKETING

The Marketing Committee is responsible for designing graphics for all internal and external events, along with other supplementary social media content. The committee also runs our organization's social media platforms including the website, LinkedIn, Facebook, and Instagram, with a strategy for high impact and growth. Marketing members are responsible for ensuring proper documentation of committee and general body meetings throughout the year. 

Some of the committees recent initiatives was establishing the official website (the one you are on now) and designing merch for club members.
